Greetings metalheads! It's been a short while, but now that we have left 2008 in it's wake and are heading for a whole new year of metal, it's time for our first ever Metaholic End of year Poll. We're asking you, the fans, to tell us what you thought were the best and worst of 2008.

In Flames - A Sense Of Purpose Album Cover Readers Poll: The Results

It's been discussed and debated over on many a metal forum, but you guys decided that the In Flames - A Sense Of Purpose album cover was "Freakin' Awesome!"!

Freakin' Awesome won with 32% of the vote, and it was a tightly fought contest. Those of you who didn't like it were behind by only 2%, those who thought it was alright made up 26% of the vote, and those who really just didn't give a damn had just 10%.
